I'm getting married in July and I'm still trying to find shoes! I'll be wearing the attached dress. Our ceremony and reception are in a park but held in different locations. They are outdoor pop up events so there could be a bit of walking between them. I would like a pair of shoes I can wear again. I'm open to coloured shoes as well as white or nude. I don't wear heels.
Size 10, covered toes are a must.
I've been working on a lovely shell stitch cardigan for my wedding in July (Southern hemisphere, cool temps). It works from the bottom up and you divide the panel into 3 for the fronts and the back. Finally ready to assemble. I clip it together with stitch markers so I can see fit and try the sleeve length. It doesn't fit.
The fronts have the right number of shells but I am two shells short across the back according to the pattern. I must have messed up the chain length when I was picking my size in the beginning. The fronts are also not quite wide enough for me either. I cried a lot. It hasn't helped that I'm unwell and crochet has been the only thing I've been able to do.
On the upside, my stitches look amazing. Today's job is to pick another pattern and try again. I think I'll lose my marbles if I do more shell stitches. I needed to tell people who understand. My poor fiancé felt so bad he had no idea what I was talking about.
