“I bought a 2023 Volvo XC40 in 2025 in South Florida, and my factory warranty expires in December 2026.
I recently visited a different Volvo dealership because it’s right across the street from my house, and they offered me these extended warranty options:
• 36 months / 24,000 miles – $3,684
• 36 months / 36,000 miles – $4,206
• 48 months / 36,000 miles – $4,756
• 48 months / 48,000 miles – $5,380
These prices seem pretty high. Has anyone been able to negotiate a better price? If so, how much were you able to get off, and what strategies worked? Can I buy a genuine Volvo extended warranty from another dealership at a lower price?”
