Denial backup plan.

OK, I have my flights booked. I’m currently living in the US on an E2 Visa dependent status. I’ve been going to school completing my masters of social work online. I have a job offer for July 31 as a social work therapist, obviously I’m using TN for that. I have everything prepared with my lawyer. My flight is booked for July 26. I’m gonna fly into Montreal spend the night and then fly back to Atlanta where I live. I’m a Canadian citizen and I was born there. Obviously I already have an apartment here. My kids go to school here. My kids were born in the US cause I’ve been here for 10 years on the E2 status.

If I happen for some reason to get denied at the airport, am I still able to ask them to enter as a visiter:

  1. To attend my FSU graduation on July 31.
  2. Because I will have my children with me and they’re starting school, August 3 and my daughter has a chemotherapy appointment in August. She has leukemia. I also have a letter from her doctor saying that I’m her primary caregiver and I need to be with her to attend appointment appointments and that she’s under the care of children’s healthcare of Atlanta..

I’m not sure if that will help me, but I’m just really having anxiety about getting denied.

Mold remediation question — can I handle pack-out myself or do I need a professional

Moved into an apartment that turned out to have elevated mold (Aspergillus/Penicillium, ~9,500 spores/m³ in the den/kitchen air sample, vs. the lab’s <500/m³ guideline). No visible mold growth on any of my personal belongings. I lived there for two months

So far I’ve:

•	Thrown out the couch, my kids’ beds, and any particleboard/MDF furniture and all pillows
•	Taken all clothing/linens to a laundromat that uses ozonated water, washed with Tide + Borax and moved to new place
•	Planning to wipe down remaining items (furniture, electronics, dishes, etc.) with ammonia

Still need to deal with: pantry items (mostly sealed/unopened), personal care items, a few other odds and ends.

Questions:

1.	Is ammonia actually a good call for wiping things down, or is there something better/safer?
2.	For sealed pantry items and personal care products, can I just wipe these down myself, or is that something a professional pack-out service should handle?
3.	My mattress has a waterproof bedbug-proof cover that’s been on it the whole time. Is the mattress itself salvageable, or does having that cover not really matter once the room’s been contaminated?
4.	At what point does it make sense to hire a professional restoration/pack-out company vs. doing it yourself, given nothing has visible growth?
  1. Do I need to throw out all paper products?

Appreciate any input — trying to figure out where DIY is reasonable vs. where I’m overconfident.

Social work category for TN with a MSW

Im graduating with my MSW july 31 and i have a job offer at my current internship, for a therapist position under supervision, where I am working as a clinical intern as a therapist. I plan to work there after graduation to get my supervision hours to reveive my licensure to become a licensed clinical social worker. I crrently am working there as a intern to finish my masters and i have a caseload of clients who rely on me. Im in the USA as a e-2 dependant, but that status is ending soon. I would need to make it smooth so i dont miss any clients and apply for my TN over a weekend.

My dad seems to think for TN i just need a BSW but most social work jobs require LCSW, so im plannng on using my masters for the TN.

Anyways, i wanted opinions on if this Job is a good situation for TN.
