Hello! I am in upstate New York near the Lake Ontario area. Spent my Friday looking for birds and I had a crazy cool day! I saw so many new lifers, some of which I'm not sure what they even are. Not to mention getting to see a RTH carrying some
large prey, a fishing heron that threw hands (or wings, rather) with a blackbird (grackle maybe), and the loads of swallows that weren't very happy with my presence. Not the best photos but thought I'd share and any IDs or confirmations/corrections would be lovely! Thank you!

Mr Pileated didnt want to come out until right as I was leaving! I'll have to return for a better photo :)
