£60 mil is asking price for Rodri
I couldn’t find the original source for this, so I assume they either got told directly by Sam Lee or that it possibly came through his podcast. Either way, delighted by the news that he’ll stay.
The story was seemingly up for 24 hours, as the alt-account has 34k followers compared to his 2+ mil on his actual professional account. No apology has been issued regarding the sadly minor backlash this has caused online.
Barcelona are open to selling Ferran Torres this summer because extending his contract would force them to make a payment of around €8million (£6.8m; $9.1m) to Manchester City.
Torres’ deal at the Camp Nou expires in June 2027, and no renewal has been agreed.
The 26-year-old Spain forward was signed on a five-year deal from City in January 2022 for an initial €55million plus a further €10m in add-ons, which have been achieved.
Owing to a clause in that deal, Barca would have to pay the Premier League club a fee in the region of €7-8million if he were to extend. That would take the total fee to around €73m
As we’ve reached an end on the Yaya Toure AMA, we want to thank everyone who participated in asking questions, and also Icons for reaching out and offering us the opportunity to bring a club legend onto our sub to answer a variety of questions. Thanks to Yaya as well for taking his time and answering a lot of questions.
You can find all Yaya’s answers on the original thread linked here.
Once again, thank you to everyone who asked questions and thanks u/Icons_NateM for the opportunity.
