Should I report my employer for lying about MMJ and traffic laws?

Hi, I am 24 and live in Southwestern PA. I suffer from severe insomnia and use MMJ to help me fall and stay asleep. It is unfortunately the only truly helpful tool for me, and I am now facing a tough decision regarding it in terms of my job.

My employer (an agency that provides care for individuals with IDD and mental health conditions) told us all in orientation that “if you have a med card and are pulled over, it’s an automatic DUI,” which is obviously not the case, at least in this state.

I understand wanting employees to disclose they use MMJ due to safety concerns and protocols in the company, as a major part of our mission is to prevent harm being done our clients. However , I don’t think it’s ethical whatsoever to be blatantly lying to one’s employees regarding laws, trying to “scare them straight” basically.

What are your thoughts on this? Should I report this and if so, to whom? My company is very conservative in their policies, but I still believe they have no right to lie to their new and existing employees.
