DV Resources?

Hi everyone. I am going to get straight to the point. I currently live in an abusive household and I have been working for BN for years and I am a full time employee. I don’t want to reveal too much personal information but my living situation is not the safest because of an individual that lives with me. To make a long story short, does BN offer any resources or anything if I live in an abusive household? I don’t know where to start and I just want to have resources/a plan ready incase I have to leave this living situation sooner than expected. Thanks.

Coworker issues

Hey everyone, I need some help. I am a barista and I have a coworker who is very LAZY. Whenever I ask her if she can start helping me with a task she always says no and she wants to sit down on a stool and stay on her phone. I brought this up to my manager multiple times but nothing has been done. She is honestly getting on my nerves and I don’t know what else to do. I think she also smokes but one day she came back from her break and asked me if she “smelt” she smelt a little bit like weed so I told her and she sprayed perfume. My last straw is a few days ago I went to use the bathroom and she came out of one of the stalls holding a vape in her hand. I obviously didn’t see her vape or smoke but it did smell like blueberry? It could obviously be a perfume but I don’t know what to do. Everytime I see her on the schedule I dread coming into work because she’s just going to stay on her phone, possibly smoke/vape, and not do anything. The CTE is currently on vacation but I don’t know if I should tell the CTE when he gets back? Is he allowed to talk to the barista about possible vaping/smoking on the clock and about the phone use or should I talk to the store manager? Thanks.

PTO/ Holiday Pay

Hey everyone! I’m somewhat confused about this whole PTO system and holiday pay in general. My SM has told me and other employees many different things so I assume he doesn’t know as well. Last 4th of July I only worked 4 days instead of 5 (I’m coded for 40 hours) and I was told that during holidays, you would only work 4 days and get paid for the fifth day. I was scheduled 5 days this whole week including today (memorial day) and I was curious how that works. Do i get paid for 5 days PLUS time and a half? I asked my SM and he said he thinks so but he doesn’t know. I’m just really confused and not getting direct answers. Also, how does the holiday pay work with the new PTO system? Thanks!
