Eyes Stung During Permanent Eyeliner?
I got my eyeliner tattooed today. It was my first appointment and I have a follow up in 6 weeks. I was curious because I did fine with the needle and everything on both of my right and left top eyelids, but once we moved to the bottom lid, the pigments stung my eyes like crazy. I am not allergic to any of it especially if I could tolerate the top lid just fine. My artist is gonna try again at my follow up because she suggested that maybe my eyes were just already super irritated from the top lids being done and that's why they stung and that next time we will start with my bottom lids. Does anyone have any suggestions to help with this? Is this a good way to do it next time and will it help? Also, I took 2 Benadryl and 2 Tylenol yesterday because I thought my appointment was at 2:30, but it got moved to this morning at 9:30 so I took only 1 Benadryl this morning and 2 Tylenol. Do you think maybe the Benadryl dried my eye out too much and perhaps caused the irritation? I really want the bottom lid done so I want to do everything I can to get it!
