Where does Bridge from SPD stand for you in the history and lineage of Green Rangers?

Quite honestly, he shares first place with Tommy for me. I absolutely love Bridge and his antics. He was one of the reasons why every episode of SPD is so enjoyable for me. I loved his focus episode A-Bridged and the episode where he had faith in the Cyborg named Sophie when everyone else was writing her off. I love how he's shown to be a genius in his own way, just has a different way of going about getting the answers.

Is Chad or Lucas more memorable as a Blue Ranger?

Honestly for me? As much as I love Time Force and that it's my favorite season, I gotta say Lucas is more forgettable than Chad. At least Chad was given a backstory with his sensai and a martial arts background. And an arc where he was in love with a mermaid. Sadly all Lucas got was writing a loving poem about his race car. And he loves women. Oh, and did I mention he likes cars? He really likes cars and driving.

( For the record, I don't hate Lucas. I actually like Lucas lol. )

Did Alex come back to life because of events in 2001 changing the future?

So, I'm rewatching Time Force, and, the theory I agree with has always been that Alex actually did die in the beginning of the show. But, because of how much the Rangers in 2001 had changed events of the future, he came back to life because of it. It would explain why his attitude was so starkly aggressive when he revealed he was actually alive.

I know he says he barely survived his fight against Ransik, but, perhaps that was all just results of them changing the timeline. What are some of your Alex theories?

I honestly wish Taylor was kept leader of the Wild Force

Let me preface this by saying that I love Cole as Red Ranger. He's honestly in my top five Red Rangers if all time, love his character and the story he goes through. But to me, having watched Wild Force numerous times, he didn't scream leader to me. And, the reasons they give for him to be leader were pretty weak in my opinion.

Where with Taylor, she possessed the strong leadership qualities, her background in the military, her demeanor and attitude just screamed leadership. She came off more qualified to me. I liked how she was the leader in the beginning and honestly? Wish they would have stuck with it. Idk, am I crazy? Lol.

But, I feel they already did the "fish out of water" Red Ranger with Wes in Time Force in the previous season, and they did it again with Cole being an outsider Red Ranger. With how well Jen was received as a Pink team leader in the season prior, I wish they would have given Taylor that same sort of role on the Wild Force team.

This could be my bias showing a little as she's my favorite Yellow Ranger, but, I just see a missed opportunity.

Did you like Jason as the Gold Ranger? Or, would you have liked to see Billy as the Gold Ranger instead?

I loved Jason as Gold, but, it was rumored for a while Billy was supposed to be the Gold Ranger at one point in the script. I don't think I would have liked it. If anything, I wish Billy stayed on as a core Zeo Ranger. That might be my bias showing though lol.

Where does Kat from Mighty Morphin / Zeo / Turbo stand for you in the history of Pink Rangers?

Personally, she's in my top three Pink Rangers of all time. Coming in third behind Syd at #2 and Jen at #1.

Which episodes in Time Force stand out to you the most?

For me? Here are some of the episodes personally that stood out to me the most and have stuck with me.

Episode 1: Force From the Future Part 1 ( Seeing a Red Ranger "die" in the very first episode set the tone. )

Episode 4: Ransik Lives ( Finding out Ransik's chilling backstory for the first time. )

Episode 6: A Parting of Ways ( Wes breaks free from his father finally and moves in with the team at the clock tower. )

Episode 8: Jen's Revenge ( A great Jen focused episode, she almost kills a mutant. You see more of her character driven emotions and motivations. )

Episode 12: World's Apart ( Wes' identity is discovered by his father and old schoolmate Eric. Introduces Eric and the Silver Guardians. )

Episode 13: The Quantum Quest ( Eric becomes the Quantum Ranger )

Episode 15: Clash for Control Part 2 ( Mr. Collins tries to buy out the Power Rangers, Eric and Wes fight, Eric believes the Rangers will fall under his command. )

Episode 18: Trust and Triumph ( Jen and Wes become closer, Jen opens up about her past with Alex to Wes. )

Episode 19: Trip Takes a Stand ( This is a great Trip episode where he fights Eric's mutant racism. )

Episode 22: Lovestruck Rangers ( Jen gets jealous over a mutant disguised as a beautiful woman who puts Lucas, Trip and Wes all under a spell. You see more Jen and Wes growth. )

Episode 23: Full Exposure ( A photographer finds out the Rangers' identities )

Episode 26: Time Force Traitor ( One of the more intense episodes of the season, Jen turns evil and fights Wes. By the end, you see Jen and Wes become stronger. )

Episode 27: Frax's Fury ( Reveals Frax was once a human, not a robot. And, he saved Ransik's life who in return tried to kill him. )

Episode 28: Dawn of Destiny ( Alex returns from the "dead" and Ransik faces off with Mr. Collins, nearly murdering Wes' father )

Episode 35: Nadira's Dream Date ( Arguably the funniest episode of the season. You see just how much Ransik loves Nadira. )

Episode 40: The End of Time Part 3 ( A fantastic yet heartbreaking finale. Wes and Jen say goodbye to each other. Eric and Wes are finally friends. Ransik turns himself in. Nadira truly breaks the cycle of evil. Wes joins the Silver Guardians with Eric as his partner underneath his father. )

Of the Time Force related releases to VHS, did any stand out to you?

For me, it was Red Alert. Granted it only has one Time Force episode on it, but the episode Beware the Knight has stuck with me for decades since watching it as a little kid. And, it was my first exposure to Time Force as a little kid in the early 2000's. I remember the suits being a major standout to my 5 year old brain and renting that VHS from my local video rental store down the road from my house!

Newest season pickup came in the mail!

I just finished it today on Tubi, and it's easily cracked my top five favorite seasons! I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, or for it to be as good as it was! I loved how dark it got throughout multiple episodes. Always welcoming a season that can feel adult for a show made for kids. I loved both Kendrix and Karone as Pink Rangers and the core five team were an amazing one imo. The Magna Defender arc really stuck with me, and Mike later becoming the Magna Defender was awesome.

And of course, I absolutely love Trakeena and her arc throughout the series. Seeing where she started and where she ended was quite a closure. I just wish she was treated better in the Lightspeed Rescue crossover now that I have more context for her after finally watching Lost Galaxy.

I'm glad I got around to this season!

Just finished watching Ninja Storm

I haven't seen this season since I was a little kid over 20 years ago. And, now that I've completed Ninja Storm, I can honestly say, while not one of my favorites, I did enjoy it!

Shane, Dustin and Tori make a great core team of Rangers. I also really enjoyed Cam as a Green Ranger! What I wasn't a huge fan of was how much they pushed the humor on the villain side while also trying to expect they'd be taken seriously as a threat. ( Looking at you Lothor ). You can clearly see the Disney influence in this show compared to past seasons before it. I overall did enjoy Ninja Storm though, it's a fun time.

Where does it place for you?

Any fans of the Deck Building Game? I just got it into it a few weeks ago and love it!

I have three sets so far with a fourth one on the way! Really love the mechanics of this game and all of the different play styles. I'm big into deck building so the fact this game escaped my radar was frustrating lol.

For me, outside of the Rangers, I always liked Mr. Collins arc and how much he changed from the beginning of the season. Going from not wanting to help Wes pay ransom money but taking credit for helping the children to running around the destroyed city trying to help a mother and child get to the hospital, spending all night walking Silver Hills just trying to find Wes and make sure he's safe.

I say Dino Thunder in particular because I remember watching it when I was little and enjoying it a lot. And, when I started getting back into Power Rangers, the hype I saw all over this subreddit, on podcasts and YouTube videos for Dino Thunder got me so hyped to watch it and revisit for the first time in 20+ years. Then when I rewatched it lately, I came away feeling very let down lol.

Jungle Fury however, I ended up really enjoying on my first watch! I think RJ is right up there with Cruger for my favorite mentor figure.

I'll give Dino Thunder this though, I liked Mesogog as the main villain way more than Dai Shi. And, I like Ethan waaayyyy more than Theo as Blue Ranger.

Absolutely loved Camille and her arc tho!
