I have endometriosis and had a laparoscopy in February.

Before my surgery, I was dealing with bladder/UTI-like symptoms constantly probably 10 to 15 times last year. Every time I took a UTI test, it showed positive leukocytes but negative nitrates, and the antibiotics never actually helped.

I kept being told it was anxiety or that I just needed pelvic floor therapy, even though I was also having back pain, fevers, and severe peeling/irritation issues.

What’s confusing is that after my endometriosis laparoscopy, the symptoms completely stopped for about 3 months. But now they’re starting again and it feels exactly like a UTI even though it doesn’t seem to actually be one.

Has anyone with endometriosis experienced this? I’m trying to understand what this could be because it keeps happening and I feel dismissed every time. It really affects my life. Is there any meds that help this?
