21 Wonders of the World?

So,all the official candidates have been posted.

The original long list was over 200! This eventually was whittled down to those 20,plus the Giza Pyramids as an 'honorary wonder '.

So... which 7 of those on the list would you choose? How many of the 21 have you actually seen in real life?

The Pyramids of Giza

AS the only real remaining one of the original '7 Wonders of the World',the Pyramids were granted honorary membership.

So the 'New 7 Wonders' were actually 8.But only 7 were voted in.

Anyway,if you have been to the Giza Pyramids (which are of course not the only pyramids that exist)....do you think they deserve this honorary role? Are they so impressive and ancient that they must be included?

Post your opinion, your experience there and if you like,a photo or two!

Anyone who has visited Timbuktu, please post your impressions here.Does it deserve a place on the shortlist,or indeed on the actual '7 Wonders of the World'?
