I am very interested in purchasing carbon offsets when traveling. For instance, I will be flying to Europe this summer for a vacation. I am looking at cooleffect.org. They seem to be very reputable. I understand this should be tax deductible as well. Does anyone have any thoughts? I know there are a lot of carbon offsets out there that are not great and very vague, but I feel like I’m obligated to do my part anyway I can and I want to be more consistent in purchasing these.
