We have been having water leaking from behind the shower since we moved into our new house. Decided to rip out the shower to inspect behind it and found this. Does anyone know what the potential fix for this is? And what cost we are expecting?

I have had lots of strawberries grow on this plant, but all of them are only half ripening. The big berry pictured has looked like that for 3 weeks now. Does it normally take a super long time for them to ripen? Or should I snip off the berry and let the plant put energy toward other things?
