I’m getting a sibling for my ferret tomorrow and would like to know any tips or tricks introducing ferrets!
I already purchased a temporary enclosure for the new ferret, it’s a travel playpen that I can use if I also take them to friends houses or travel with them, but I’m gonna use it as their temporary home until I know that they can be trusted together. But I wanted to know other people’s experience introducing ferrets if anyone has any video or photo examples of the set ups that they made to introduce their fairy that should be greatly appreciated!
If any of you have seen my other post you know I got my boy a week ago today, I’ve been very worried about him since he’s so timid and sleepy he seemed depressed but tonight I got him to play!! It was only for about 10 min before he decided it was time to sleep but it was an amazing feeling!! I almost started to cry! My sweet boy is finally accepting his new home
My husband and I were playing Cod (him in the bedroom me in the living room) while we let Ash free roam the bedroom for the first time since we got him (we got him a couple days ago) and my husband said he couldn’t find him so when I got off I went to go look for him and I found him so quick in his ball pit xD snoozin
Hello I took in a boy Ferret Ash from someone who was rehoming him and he has always ate a ferret kibble I’ve been trying to mix his kibble with some chicken wet food, freeze dried chicken, freeze dried chicken hearts, and freeze dried minnows but I noticed he picks out the kibble, eventually eats some of the rest but ultimately doesn’t finish the extras mixed with the kibble. I wanted to see if anyone had similar issues and what they did to try to help get their fair on a better diet.

Hello! I just got Ash that was being rehomed and I’ve been trying to get anything and everything he could want or need! I’m trying to find him a companion but NOWHERE has ferrets it’s insane!!
Anyway I’m still fixing up and adding this to his enclosure and things outside the cage, I have a large cat tunnel system coming and some rug looking pet mats to replace the rugs I have in his cage currently (the sheets where one of his favorite things from his past home so I have it as his burrow area
