I am looking at buying a 4.95ct oval diamond, excellent color/cut/polish/symmetry, vvs2 clarity, measurements are 13.74x9.56x5.91.

This one is priced at almost 4300$ but there is a sale going on and I can get it for 3200$ plus maybe additional 200$ off with military discount. I would be looking at a total of 4-4.4k with the 18k yellow gold setting

Is this a reasonable, fair, too pricey, or a great deal?

I am going to get married in August, in need of a venue for a small reception and dinner/drinks. At most 20 people, maybe even less. Budget friendly please, budget below 10k

Looking for suggestions how to get to the Lake while respecting the Pass trail closure, best possible scenario if any are available! As far as I know, the south part of the pass is affected not the north so Alqonquin Trail then Avalanche and then back via Colden should be fine?
