Made a little desktop widget for Pakistan and PSL live scores
Salaam everyone!
I made this because I wanted to keep an eye on cricket scores while working without having to open Cricbuzz every few minutes. Thought I’d share it here in case anyone else finds it useful.
On Windows, it’s a small score bar you can drag anywhere on your screen and keep above other windows. On Mac, the score sits in your menu bar. You can also open it up for more match details.
It follows Pakistan and PSL matches. It’s free, doesn’t need an API key, and on Windows you just unzip it and run the exe—no installation needed.
Scores are fetched from Cricbuzz every 45 seconds during a live match, so there will be a little delay. Their website changes sometimes break the scraper, which is one of the reasons I made it open source. If someone wants to fix something or improve it, they can.
No user tracking or analytics either.
