Reoccurrence ultra sensitive psa .38

Hi all, had the removal surgery at 41 and was told the cancer didn’t spread beyond the gland. The subsequent PSA tests were undetectable until 2024 when it was .09, and last year due to stress from my mothers declining health (I was pretty much her caregiver) I skipped, but I just had a ultra sensitive test done and it came back at .38. Sadly over the last couple years I have had a poor diet and being rather inactive. Just curious what my next step might be. My doctor/surgeon suggested either a scan or seeing me every 6months depending on results (his comments were made prior to the blood test being taken as I got lucky with a next day appointment with him).

Hi all nice to find this subreddit. My mom (84) was diagnosed with a stage 2 meningioma tumor 4 years ago and had tough but successful surgery. She’s had 3 seizures, which she was able to slowly recover from over the last few years. The first was due to her being taken off keppra I believe, and the others were random like her being at PT and happening while stretching. She was hospitalized for a mild case of pneumonia 3 months ago and has weakened since but still fairly normal with cognitive abilities for her age and condition.

Her 4th seizure happened this past Sunday and likely was triggered by a lack of sleep for two nights due to a new lady moving into a great group home she was in. The new lady was screaming the entire night about her son and kept everyone up, my mom didn’t sleep well for 2 nights in a row. There’s always the possibility they missed a dose of her meds but unsure….

Anyways my mom appears to be EOL as they haven’t gotten her tremors under control with various medicines and she can’t really communicate at all but I know she’s has pain in her back. They’re talking about hospice care to my dad already which is discouraging to me but I’m reaching out to see if any folks have had parents in similar conditions who have recovered to at least have their tremors stopped and maybe have lived a while longer with at home care.
