brake break and other Tacoma questions
Sisters, I have been inspired by your posts over years of lurking. I have a couple issues I need help with. I can probably manage them with some help and your help would be the best kind. So:
My (54f) Beloved Tacoma (25f) has what looks like cancer. I feel like this is a problem for the brake lines especially. Is this just how brakes look in the North East where the roads are extra salty?
The other novice mechanic question I have is about how genuine "genuine OEM" parts on Ebay are. Is the $76 dollar Denso o2 sensor better than the $40 Denso o2 sensor. At what point is the part obviously trash? For point of reference the local auto parts store quoted $275ish /ea. Is it that these parts are like catalytic converters where there's a federal standard and a NY standard that costs twice as much?
