SMC 11.44.120. Apropos of getting hit and run (and yelled at) by a cyclist on the Fremont bridge. Why are people like this?

The title says it all. We arrive via Aegean from Athens at EFL at 14:35 in late May and the last ferry from Sami to Pisaetos is at 16:45. That's 2 hrs 10 mins to disembark, pickup checked baggage and make the 45 minute taxi ride from EFL airport to Levante ferries in Sami. Is that cutting it too close? What are our other options if we miss that last ferry of the day? Any help is greatly appreciated.
