Anyone using near for cross chain swaps?

Just curious about users experience. I guess I want to know if people are here because they use it or because they think number go up.

Also how do people get on chain with privacy. Isn't privacy only of limited value if I only have it when it's in my wallet. If how it got there is clearly on record doesn't that really limit the value?

Mining cost?

Why is the price of the token to disconnected from the mining cost? I'm struggling to work out the price discrepancy. I'm guessing the price is being proped up?

I'm a wrong to think the mining cost should be correlated to the price?

Can someone clarify some stuff?

On near.com where are intents, am i using it if i use the spot or is it only for developers routing traffic through it?

If I am only using it for spot I feel like the "pitch" i was exposed to was that intents could be used for more than just swaps/spot trading?

I feel like the confidential aspect of things is not very clearly explained to users. Obviously there is the confidentiality section but it's unclear HOW I should be using it. At what point are things confidential and how should people be using multiple wallets to get specific privacy outcomes. Obviously the drop off when going to the privacy layer is transparent.

Yes I understand all this is early and it's somewhat of a new take on privacy but I don't think it's actually very user friendly yet and probably OR understandable (which is sometimes the biggest barrier to success).

lol seriously?

I know I shouldn't disclose my wealth but i have 3 dollars worth of zcash in my confidential account and I am ranked #952, in top 67% of users. Imagine how high I would jump if it upped it to $6!

With SAAS getting pounded into the earth where do ALTs sit?

Obviously AI is changing everything in the software space. I am a geologist, can't code but thanks to claude I replaced 3 SAAS products I have used and paid for, for 15 years (although I'm pretty sure 15 years ago there was not bullshit subscriptions). Anyway my question is where does this leave lots of alts. Isn't this going to mean that any tech around interoperability, infrastructure and utility is going to be next to worthless if it doesn't already have market penetration? I'm pretty worried that any tech or concept advantage any chain has is close to worthless if they don't already have some kind of foothold.

Pokemon cards seriously?

Putting Pokemon cards on the site is so bad. So much opportunity for people to get scammed before than even get robbed with the fees.

I always hoped that solana and the core ecosystem like jup would mature into more serious financial tools but it feels like Jupiter are of the opinion if you are going to get scammed on the network than it should be with us! Like who the hell wants rigged Pokemon cards gambling one click away from their lending/banking.

Delusional.

Issues after newborn 6 weeks vaccinations

Hey my 6 week old daughter just had her vaccinations in Australia and the next day she came down with a fever. We have been in the hospital for 2 nights now. Tests have come back that she has white cells in her urine which they think is a UTI. She seems pretty ok if it's wasn't the fever you wouldn't know she was unwell.

It could have just been coincidence but we don't really know. Anyone had similar experiences?
