In the past, Jeff Sneider has repeatedly displayed unprofessional behavior. But many have let it slide, including us, in the name of him providing scoops. However, after his tweets yesterday threatening Inde Navrette and her team, his behavior cannot be ignored, and the MSS team has decided that we will no longer be platforming him. He is now considered a banned source, and any scoops coming from him will not be approved. This also includes his podcast The Hot Mic with John Rocha.

I have seen this mentioned a lot in the fandom and people almost consider this fact, especially when people compare them as hockey players saying "Shane is a better player, but Ilya is the better captain". But what exactly is the basis behind this?

Shane as captain won three Stanley cups with the Metros, two of them consecutively. Meanwhile Ilya won once with Boston early in his career and never again.

Some people use Ilya's rousing pep talk before their Stanley Cup winning game against San Francisco, but for me that's not really enough proof of him being a better captain seeing that we have no scenes of how Shane rallies his team before a game. But we do know that his team respects him >!(pre-outing)!< Plus he built derp bonds with his teammates and has multiple close friends, while Ilya did not while in Boston.

Also it was Shane that was chosen as Captain in the All-Star Game, not Ilya.

To me, based on their performance, Shane seems to be the better player and better captain.
