Clots 4 hours after IUI
I really would like some advice on my IUI 1 day ago.
I took letrozole 7.5mg May 1-5, then may 7th and 8th. I took my trigger shot 2230 on May 13th.
My ultrasound showed 3 mature follicle over 20mm.
I had my IUI at 0930 yesterday morning. Around 2 pm I started spotting. I had a flight and noticed at the airport I was passing small clots when wiping with a moderate amount of red blood. Was not soaking through a pad. I tried to text my Dr as they have no on call and I’ve only seen him once. The NP does all my visits.
He told me to start taking letrozole tomorrow again and call Monday for an ultrasound?!
I’m sorry this is so long but I’m so confused. I’m not even supposed to have my period for 2 weeks. Has anyone experienced small clots after IUI and the IUI still worked? Or been told to immediately start taking letrozole after an IUI before even getting a period?
I am no longer bleeding this morning. Just very sad and frustrated. This is our first IUI.
