I am currently a PGY 5 cardiology fellow on a J1 visa in Illinois. I am planning on doing general cardiology and will need a J1 waiver. I am new to this process. How early should I start looking for jobs? Which states are easy to get in to? How competitive is west coast (CA, WA)?
I don’t wanna book an explicit venue and break the bank. Is it possible to do it in a public park kind of a place. Our house has a small backyard and doesn’t fit enough people. And my fiance is from out of state, hence he will be renting an Airbnb until the wedding and they don’t allow any parties at his place.
There will be water and colors involved. So is it safe to do it at a public park? Or are there any better places to host it?
