So maybe there’s something I’m missing but can someone please explain.

I owe about $24,000 in student loans. I work in law enforcement and want to take advantage of the PSLF. However, all the repayment plan options show that they are 10 year plans. This would mean that by the time I would have made my 120 payments, my loan would be paid off and there would be nothing for the PSLF to forgive.

Can anyone explain or assist?
