Hello! I’m looking for some guidance. I found a 2014 16ft Bambi in pristine condition from a private party seller. It is priced fairly and I met the owner today and he was a great guy and showed us the trailer. The issue is.. the VIN number is coming up as a 1984 20ft airstream (checked on JD Power and a few other sites).

Have you experienced something like this before and if so, were you able to fix it? I’ve read of some instances like this, due to the VIN being input incorrectly (typos) or an old chassis (but from my research that would only be a few years apart).

Any guidance on how to proceed is appreciated. Thank you!
