If you want foreign interference to keep happening then don't take action.
With Alberta separatism gaining attention while Canada's relationship with the U.S. is increasingly strained, I don't understand why there isn't more pressure to investigate who is funding and amplifying these movements and whether foreign actors are involved.
Albertans have every right to support separation. That isn't the issue. The issue is whether foreign interests are attempting to influence a movement that could literally break apart the country. We've spent years concerned about foreign interference in Canadian politics. This deserves the same scrutiny.
I've written my MP asking for it to be raised in Parliament and investigated seriously. If you feel the same, write yours.

here is my sample that I sent:
Dear MP,
I am writing as a constituent to express my growing concern about foreign interference in Canadian democratic institutions, particularly any efforts by foreign actors to fund, influence, amplify, or otherwise exploit the separatist movement in Alberta.
Foreign interference in Canadian democracy has already warranted significant public and parliamentary scrutiny. Given the current geopolitical environment and the increasing prominence of Alberta separatism, I believe Canadians deserve confidence that movements seeking such consequential constitutional change are operating transparently and without covert foreign influence.
I am asking you, as my Member of Parliament, to raise this issue with your colleagues and support appropriate parliamentary and national-security scrutiny. I would specifically like to see foreign funding, coordinated online influence, political organizations or intermediaries, and other forms of foreign involvement connected to separatist advocacy properly investigated.
This should not be about assuming wrongdoing by Alberta separatists. It should be about establishing the facts. If there is no meaningful foreign involvement, Canadians should have confidence in that conclusion. If there is, Canadians deserve to know its extent and what is being done about it.
Regardless of political affiliation or views on separation, decisions about the future of Canada should be made by Canadians, free from foreign interference.
I would appreciate knowing whether you would support raising this matter in Parliament and with the appropriate national-security bodies.
Thank you for your time and for representing our community
