Hi everyone! I’m a jewelry CAD designer and currently trying to build up more freelance/self-employed work.
I’d love to hear from those of you who work independently: How did you find your first clients, and where do most of your projects come from now? Do you get work mainly through referrals, Instagram/social media, platforms like Upwork, direct outreach to jewelers/brands, or something else?
I’m especially curious what actually worked for you in the beginning and how long it took to build a steady flow of projects.
