My first birthday ever that my grandpa has not been here (he's in the hospital post heart transplant), no cake, no dinner, no party, but at least I'm still here, right? That's what I keep telling myself!

Hey guys, I have been working at an alarm company for almost 2 years now because I originally wanted to get into 911 and I figured this would be a good job to gain certain skills for 911 in (not saying they're on the same level at all).

Have any other dispatchers started at an alarm company, and do you think it helped?
