Sam Lake posting this on his story is so interesting

TVs have played a big part in every Remedy game, usually acting as a mirror for the events that the protagonist is going through.

Control in particular seems to really go all in on the liminal aesthetic of empty rooms being this transitional space, with the Oceanview Motel acting as a bridge to different worlds (as well as the Hotel in AW2).

Even Alan Wake 2 leans into this with Alan always starting off in an empty room and using the tvs to dive further into the Dark Place.

This post almost feels like a perfect representation of the mindset of Remedy and how they frame their stories and aesthetics. I’m curious how this will be used in Resonant.
