

Day 5 on CPAP - ahi 1-2 but my sleep is still trash
Hey guys, 5 days into CPAP and feeling completely exhausted.
My AHI dropped from 20 to 1.2 (fixed pressure at 6 cmH2O, 100% mask fit, 8h+ usage). On paper it looks great, but my actual sleep is a fragmented mess.
According to my Apple Watch (pics attached), I only got 33 mins of Deep Sleep out of 10 hours. My REM is fine, but I have constant micro-arousals. Also, my fiancée says I still snore a bit, and I get a slight "air starvation" feeling when I first turn on the machine.
My doctor appointment is 3 months away, but I'm trying to get the full clinical data report earlier.
What do you think is causing this? Has anyone else had great AHI but zero deep sleep in the first week? Would increasing the pressure or switching to APAP fix the residual snoring and fragmentation?
