Looks like I'm one of you now

Looks like I'm one of you now

Had my first person reach out recently about doing a small 10x10 dog poop area during their litter service. Figured I'd be leaving money on the table if I didn't include it. Honestly it wasn't too bad, granted it was a very small spot and the owner seemed to be on top of doing the cleaning regularly already.

I'm not really planning to put the information out there to the world because rather keep it as an add-on, just in case someone needs it and not a main service. I'll definitely start pushing it more when it's not just me running the show. 😅

Cat litter version of what y'all do. Would love some fresh eyes on my site

Hey all, I'm new-ish to the industry. Just launched Alamo Litter Patrol last month in San Antonio: basically what you do, but litter boxes instead of yards. Weekly cleanings, the whole deal. Two customers in so far.

Site: alamolitterpatrol.com

Since a lot of you have been doing the pooper-scooper thing way longer than I've been doing the litter thing, figured this is the right crowd to ask: does the site read as legit and worth trusting with a key to someone's house? Anything about the pricing, the booking flow, or anything that would make you (or a customer) hesitate?

Also open to any lessons you wish someone had told you in your first month.

Getting requests outside my zone

Hey y'all, I'm a new small business owner San Antonio, TX in your industry. I handle cat litter box cleanings instead of dog poop. Launched September 1st, so still very early (two customers so far).

I'm running into a good problem: a couple people outside my service area have reached out wanting to sign up. They're not too far, maybe 25 minutes out, but I've been deliberate about keeping a tight service zone so routes stay efficient as I grow and so I don't waste gas going out of my way for one customer.

Should I take customers outside my zone while I'm this new or hold the line on the tight area so I don't box myself into a scattered, inefficient route later?
