Level 36. 276 of 440km done towards final upgrade of Aeroad 24 frame. Using zipp 353NSW rims and have 784k drops. No idea of the drop requirement for the final upgrade. What frame or rims should I be looking at next?
Hi, living in Ireland. Have been 'gifted' a loan of a bike and am trying to figure out if I should be looking this horse in the mouth. Needs a major service - full sus bike with fox series 32 front shocks. 3x10 deore xt drivetrain. Elixor cr hydraulic brakes. I would imagine both front amd rear shocks need a service. Brakes do not work - lots of play in the lever and they dont rebound to normal restimg position. Rear derailleur does not move at all under shifting and the rear hub does not sound right to me (I know some like a noisy hub but this does not sound like anything I've ever heard before. How much would it likely cost to get this beast back on the road? Is it just a money pit and not worth the effort? I am capable of maintaining my own road bike but do not have any of the tools or expertise required for most of these tasks. Thanks in advance
