what is next?
Hello everyone, Shayo Konpaku here. I'm making this type of post once again because throughout this week, I literally have nothing to post. Because...well, all of the main stages for the new event has been release and I have to wait for next week's update for the EX event stages to drop.
But anyway, this topic that I'm gonna talk about contains:
Updates; regarding the future of posting things in this subreddit and maybe in other social medias in the topic of Touhou and Touhou LostWord.
Improvements; including changes in posting "dialogues" and "enemy quotes", as well as the rerun events. (There may be questions later on in this part but you'll see it later)
New Content; containing on what posts that I'm gonna make other than the usual stuff.
Alright, so let's start out first with the updates.
Somewhere last week, you may have seen me posting dialogues and enemy quotes early in the morning in America (or if you live at Asia, it's night time or midnight). And that's because I'm thinking about changing the schedule, even though I post it at random times. That includes the dialogues or enemy quotes. But I abandon that idea because...well, it doesn't really affect anything other than the fact that I'm posting it at well over afternoon in the Global Community in America.
Another thing was that I'm always distracted with many things, so that's why you always see me posts, like I said, in random times. And I wanted to change that and talking about it later on in the improvements section.
Lastly, posting these kinds of stuff in other social media account, specifically, on YouTube. I've said before in my last post that I have a plan...or maybe having an idea that I will post my Touhou LostWord Dialogues and Enemy Quotes posts in my YouTube channel, which I may or may not forgot to link it in my Reddit account, which is this. But unfortunately, I haven't done that yet. And maybe, after the EX Event Stages have been released next week after I post the "The ABCs event extras part", then maybe I'll start to do it.
Now that's it for the updates and we're gonna go on to the improvements.
Some of you may have notice the changes in all of the dialogues, enemy quotes and whatsoever posts and how it's structurally becoming organize over time. You seen the title format being change, the body text that includes the line on where they speak that out, the event stages on where the screenshot has set, and the position of the enemy and what phase they're in the fight. You all have seen that.
But I'm curious to note on what other things should I improve, change or add into the mix. Because I know, and you all know, that this format that I have now is perfect. But I wanted to know, is there something that I can do in order to make it even look better?
As of writing this down, I was thinking of adding what character is in each of the screenshots and the universe they're in. But then again, it will took me ahead of time before I get to post it. So...who cares anyway. But seriously, are there any other things I should do to the format of my posts? I can't think of anything that can make the format look a little better. Let me know!
Finally, the last topic. New Content.
Ok, this is a serious one. Over the past few years... I've been making the same type of posts. You know, the already mention dialogues and enemy quotes...whatever. But, to be truthfully told, I've gone to the point that maybe posting only these type of content was not...fun anymore. It's like you have been an employee of some sort of a company doing the same routine or schedule without any change.
I've been thinking about other stuff that's in the game that maybe is interesting to talk about or see it just for a little bit. But... there's not a lot to go from other than the event. And to surprise literally everyone, and adding this to the mix, I'm actually thinking of making a long video that is me reading...like the whole story cards that I have in the game and turning it into a long form content, but that'll be for another time.
So, what is my plan for this? Well, to be simply said, I wanted to post a different content. So that it doesn't make me bored? Ok, I think that statement was a bruh and stupid thing to say. But well, I got nothing to do. Same posts, same content, why not a different one for the time being. I wanted to see your recommendations or anything like ideas that you all have. I'll read through the entirety of it.
And...I will let you all have your own opinions regarding this post. Maybe even a conversation, if you wanted to say something.
And I guess that it for today's post, next post will be the extra stages for the main event, so...well, to announce that out of the way. Well, anywho, I'll see you all again in the next one! Peace out! And thanks for reading!
