Hello! I'm new to gaming and recently became curious about Dungeons & Dragons after one of my students mentioned playing it.

I don't know anyone personally who plays, so I'm wondering how a complete beginner can get started. Are there good ways to find beginner-friendly groups or learn the basics before joining a game?

Thanks for any advice!
