Hi! My boyfriend and I are thinking about moving abroad (outside Italy) with our dog. He is a mixed-breed dog, but he is morphologically very similar to a Pitbull.
I’ve looked online for different countries where we could move with him, but sometimes the information says that Pitbulls are allowed, while when I’ve contacted embassies or relevant authorities, they told me otherwise.
I know for sure that there are no breed restrictions in Finland, but I was wondering if anyone has direct experience with other countries or knows where we could move with him without too many issues.
Our dog has everything he needs: a pet passport, all his vaccinations, rabies vaccination, health records, and microchip. He is 6 years old.

Ciao! Mi chiamo Martina, avrei bisogno di informazioni riguardo questo topic perché io e il mio ragazzo vorremmo trasferirci ad Amsterdam (o meglio, in zone ben collegate ad Amsterdam) e ho alcune domande. Vi do più informazioni in modo tale da potervi aiutare:

1. Io ho 27 anni e sto facendo uno stage al momento in Eventi e Comunicazione (gestione eventi, preventivi, fornitori, etc + materiali grafici, impaginazioni etc). Sono laureata in progettazione artistica per l’impresa presso lo IED. So parlare inglese.

2. Il mio ragazzo ha 29 anni e lavora come operaio in magazzino. Ha molta esperienza anche come cuoco ma ha deciso da qualche anno ha questa parte di lasciare quel campo per via della tossicità che ha trovato in vari ambienti. Sa parlare inglese e tedesco, entrambi a livelli base. Il lavoro che fa ora gli piace e vorrebbe crescere in questo campo magari facendo un lavoro di ufficio poi.

3. Abbiamo un cane, è un incrocio tra un Pitbull e un altro cane, ma morfologicamente è praticamente un Pitbull. Ha 6 anni ed è abituato a vivere in appartamento ed è socializzato, tranne con i maschi con cui non va d’accordo (non con tutti ma io non mi permetto di metterlo con altri maschi perché è un lavoro che lascio fare agli esperti quando lo porto in pensione o in asilo). Ha tutto microchip, passaporto, vaccinazioni e anti-rabbia etc.

Quello che vorrei sapere, se poteste aiutarmi è:

- Una zona o delle zone che siano ben collegate ad Amsterdam?

- La questione del mio cane. Come viene visto lì? Posso trasferirmi?

- Il mio ragazzo riuscirebbe a trovare lavoro? E io? Com’è la situazione lavorativa lì in questi ambiti?

- La questione affitto so che è molto difficile. Avete consigli di qualsiasi tipo? Si riesce ad andare lì senza lavoro ma con i soldi per pagare caparre e affitto per un po’ oppure uno dei due è meglio che vada prima?

Al momento non mi viene altro in mente ma qualsiasi consiglio e opinione è ben accetta. Vi ringrazio!
