News: Millmoor (our former home) demolition plans approved.

It's been in a state of disrepair for years, but if anyone is interested in seeing a bit of history before it's gone, then this upcoming season may be the last time to see the old stadium before it's demolished (it's only a 5-10 min walk from the new stadium).

I'm sure a few people here will have a few memories of visiting here, walking down that narrow path to the away end, was always good for atmosphere pre and post the game.

We'll always have our 6-0 victory over Chelsea in 1981 or our 2-0 win over Villa in the 1st ever League Cup final here (shame it was a two legged final and we lost the return game 3-0), Alan Lee's last minute winner against Brentford to send us up, some fantastic times there, but also some not so good times watching us get drubbed in the piss wet rain sat in the uncovered Millmoor Lane end. Character building.

Ironically, our last season at the stadium in 2008 we played Barnet on the last game of the season, and it's kind of fitting that, that is the case again in this upcoming season too, given it may well be knocked down by then.
