Recommendations for duo rpg that's simple and requires little to no accessories?

So the long read is that me and my wife are going on a trip, and we wanted to maybe have some game time (either 1 player, 1 gm or 2 players, no gm).

We were thinking Cthulhu confidential (a gumshoe 1-on-1 system that's pretty cool), but it's pretty rules heavy and requires a bunch of character sheets, and a lot of dice and other accessories - not really something you can pull up on the beach.

I'm not looking for things like Microscope, since my wife still wants to play a single character and not something too abstract.

In any case, any game that's easy to pick up (literally and figuratively), and is suitable for short maybe hour long sessions for 2 people. Looking forward to hear it.

Some advice regarding potential solo trip

Hi all! I have a bit of a specific situation so I wanted to ask what would be the best practice here.

I have a few days alone in Amsterdam coming up and I thought I'd take the opportunity to have some shrooms, and I'm not sure whether it's a good idea or not. Here's the deets:

Ive taken shrooms multiple times in the past, and I never had a full on psychedelic experience. I enjoyed a warm fuzziness, sometimes colors were a bit brighter, but never full on visuals or inner world delving. I've taken other psychedelics in the past, so I know what it's "supposed" to feel like.

I've never tripped alone, and it's been quite some time (7+ years) since I've taken anything, other then some mdma and some weed.

I have started taking anti depressents since, and I do have anxiety tendencies, and I've heard it's not a great match.

I'm considering whether I should just jump in, go into the trip alone and see what I find, or to keep it cool for now and stick to micro dosing for now.
