PowerSpec G536 worth $600+ price increase?

Found a preowned PowerSpec G536 from Micro Center for about $1590 after taxes but could also just get a preowned PowerSpec G528 for $880 or a new PowerSpec G542 for about $980 all after taxes. I am looking to get a pc that would last me 5+ years, mostly using for school + some office work, photo/video editing, and for games like Minecraft, Sims (with all the expansions), Overwatch. I dont know much about computers so not sure if the $650~ ish price increase for the G536 would be worth it for someone like me? Unless I do get into more resource intense games in the future? What would be the best buy now?

edit: forgot to mention I also need it to run well for medium/heavy use of cad & 3d model software
