Is it weird that I prefer being alone but still get lonely?
I genuinely enjoy spending time alone. I can spend an entire day in my apartment watching movies, making food, listening to music and just doing my own thing without getting bored. But then sometimes, usually at night, I get this weird feeling that I'm wasting my twenties. I see people going out, meeting new people, travelling and having all these experiences, and I start wondering if I'm missing out on something important. The funny thing is that when I actually get invited somewhere, half the time I just want to stay home 😭 Does anyone else feel like this? How do you find a balance between enjoying your own company and not isolating yourself too much?
