New Neighbourhood Hockey League Starting This Year!
Free Sport For Growth is organizing a FREE 8 week Neighbourhood Hockey League for kids in grades 7 & 8! All skill levels are welcome, but players must know how to skate, and equipment can be provided for those that need it.
Neighbourhoods will be grouped together into 4 teams for a 6 week regular season followed by 2 weeks of playoffs. Games will be played at the Civic Centre on Sunday mornings. This introductory league is the first step in creating a long-term neighbourhood hockey tradition in Brantford. As the future Conklin Park outdoor facility becomes a reality, this league will grow with it, bringing young players together to represent their neighbourhoods and build community through sport.
