Hi everyone,

I’m trying to get an idea of timelines for moving to the U.S. and would really appreciate hearing your experiences.

My husband is a U.S. citizen (born in the U.S.), and we submitted our I-130 petition in January 2026. We’re currently waiting and trying to understand how long the full process might take from here until I can actually move.

For those who have gone through this recently:

- How long did it take for your I-130 to be approved?

- How long after that until the visa interview and final approval?

- Overall, how much time did it take from filing to moving?

I know timelines can vary a lot, but any recent experiences would really help set expectations.
