Thank you to everyone who gave advice on my most recent post!!

I made a post a few days ago asking if I should get WD Red Pro drives I found for cheaper than Seagate Ironwolf pro drives with more storage.

The consensus among most people was nobody had any bad experiences with WD, even if Seagate was generally higher quality, I should still get the WD since it was an extra 6TB for 50$ less.

Well I checked my order today, and as of yesterday, the price on those WD drives has gone up OVER 140$ EACH!

So thankful for the input I got when I did. It was able to give me the confidence to pull that trigger and saved me almost 300$ lmao.

Which drives are better in this instance? WD Red Pro or Seagate Ironwolf Pro?

Hey all. I’m looking into getting a Ugreen DH4300 Plus rn and found some solid WD 18TB Drives for like 50$ cheaper than the Seagate Ironwolf pro 12TB drives.

I wanted to see if this makes sense and is worth it to anyone else or if I’m missing something. I’m by no means an expert so before I drop like 1400$ I wanted to get other opinions lmao.

How large is this series?

Heyo data tracking and math critters! I just had a question that I feel the community might be able to answer faster than I can find it myself.

If I were to download, the entirety of The Mighty Nein Campaign. How much space would that take?

I am someone who cares a lot about preserving media that I enjoy, and after seeing red vs blue in its true form disappear off the face when rooster teeth shut down, I have been working on finding ways to preserve the shows and media that are in a similar vein of availability.

I don’t expect critical role to shut down or sell out any time soon, but I’d love to know what I’m in for on the long run (also it’s gonna take.. a while… to download so any head starts probably aren’t a bad idea lmao)

Any info helps! Thank yall in advance! 🙏🙏
