Is there any reason to pull honey early vs letting the bees dry it out.

I just checked all the uncapped honey on my hives which are already 1/2 capped and was getting readings between 19-20%. Is there any reason not to pull it early and dry it myself vs letting the bees do their thing. Everyone in my area says we are in our dearth but I put my wet freshly extracted frames on the hives to clean up and they have already begun filling it in. So I assume we have some sort of flow going on. I live in st. Pete Florida for reference.

Weird

I get one hive has an extra deep but this is quite the difference in bearding/washboarding. 1st year central Florida.

Is this extreme scouting or did I actually catch a swarm?

Just wondering if it’s too early to get excited, I jumped the gun when I posted this trap last time and want to make sure it’s not just more scouting.

Caught a swarm, now what?

Caught a swarm, didn’t look in or anything. It has 5 frames of waxed foundation in there and that was it. Should I leave them for a bit to get settled or take them home tonight? Any other special considerations? 1st year beekeeping central Florida.

Found a handful of bees on the ground outside outside the hive.

I just added a second brood box and came back an hour later to find a handful of bees on the ground outside of the hive. Should I be concerned about the behavior. Zone 10 central Florida.

Is this anything to be concerned about or are they just trying to get some shade?

I am picking up a nuc, that is now expanded to 10 frames, but the original 5 frames were made with their natural comb when they were collected from a swarm. Are there any special considerations I need to be aware of for this kind of framing? Do I eventually need to transition them to foundation frames? I just started beekeeping this year and have one hive already but was hoping to expand to 2-3 hives. Located in West coast central Florida. Thanks in advanced.

Saw these withering away at Aldi and I was wondering if they were worth trying to save?
