H1B visa validity
Hello everyone, I have OFC and consular appointments on Oct 4th 2027 and Oct 14th 2027 respectively. My current I-797 expires on Nov 27th 2027. I will have a new approved I-797 from the same employer starting from Nov 28th 2027 within 6 months of my current expiration date. Does the consulate give me visa only for 1 month (up to Nov 27th) or would they extend it all way to match my new I-797 validity dates? Has anyone been in a similar situation?
