Listen, I never like a song the first time i listen to it so you can believe i was Very surprised when i loved Weston Super Mare the second i started playing the album the day it came out. But that was it. I didnt have any strong opinions about the rest of the songs (and after liking WSM first try i genuinely thought i wouldnt find any enjoyment in any of the other songs).
So tell me why, a week later, I cant get the chorus of Spinning Around and The Front out of my head? Why a week after that i feel the need to fill every silence while in bed with Flyen and Crisis ? Blasting Half Two and Yaya Touré in the shower, asking myself why the fuck i did not like The Troubles and The Band when they came out when right now theyd be my favorite song by far in any OTHER album.
I can spend MULTIPLE hours just listening to UNCA/Composure without getting tired. Actually, i Have. And every moment i wasnt listening to it i was singing it.
Like, i cant even turn it off while studying so i just end up singing Lets Link Up and Die to my microbiology slides. I was playing the Old Freight Train Interlude while washing dishes before i decided to make this post. Its been almost 2 months and i just cant put this album down for the life of me.
What the fuck did they put in this album while making it ????????
