Yo, so I just wrapped up Arcane and holy crap… my jaw is still on the floor. The animation, the music, the absolute heartbreak? 10/10, no notes.

Here’s the thing though: I went into this completely blind. I have never played a single second of League of Legends in my life, and honestly, the show made it so you don't even need to. But now that it's over, I’m experiencing major withdrawals and need some answers from the lore gods.

Is this actually the end of the road, or is there more cooking?

I’ve heard rumors that the game has a massive world with a bajillion other characters and regions. Did the studios announce a Season 3, or are we getting spun off into something else? And please tell me my girl Jinx and the rest of the OGs aren't just gone for good. Are they gonna show up again in future stuff, or is their story totally wrapped?

fr though I need to vent to the anime community here because I lowkey played myself at first.

​As a certified regular anime watcher, I am so used to traditional 2D animation. So a while back when I first saw the trailer for Arcane, the 3D art style just didn’t hit right for me. Plus, I knew absolutely zero League of Legends lore and figured I’d be completely lost. I basically skipped it and went back to my usual seasonal anime lineup.

Fast forward a few months, I was bored and finally gave it a try.

Y'ALL. I have never been so happy to be wrong.It is officially one of the best shows I have ever watched, period. The animation is actual fine art, the soundtrack has no business hitting that hard, and the characters are so deeply written it's insane.

Just to be clear, I didn't come here to start an "anime vs Arcane" war or compare them like that, I was just genuinely curious. I know a lot of anime fans can be picky about 3D animation (CGI trauma is real lmao), so I gotta know: are there other anime people in this sub? If you mainly watch anime, what did you think of Arcane? Did the animation style trip you at first too?
