I’m looking for somewhere nice to stay next weekend. Ocean views would be nice but we will take what we can get. Not looking for a rustic cabin. Are we just out of luck?

Hello all-
I have a few days off and impulsively told my daughter I’d take her to Vancouver for a few days, from about 7/6-7/10. I didn’t realize the World Cup was also happening during that time because I live under a rock. She’s wanting to mostly experience the big city, and is really into Korean culture, anime, and Korean and Chinese food. Should we reschedule our trip or possibly go somewhere else? If we stick with Vancouver, any ideas for lodging or neighborhoods to visit. Thanks so much in advance from a clueless mom!
