I've done a tiny bit of embroidery in the past, but this was my first time cracking out the Evenweave to have a go at something more geometric. I eyeballed it and went with two strands of black sewing thread (seemed to be about the equivalent of 1.5-2 strands of DMC floss) and 25 ct evenweave. The second smaller piece was every 2 'boxes' instead of 3 and with one strand of thread, just as a practice run to get a feel for things.

Anyway, would appreciate any feedback or suggestions to help me improve since I don't know what I'm looking for! How does the thread thickness look, and how many 'boxes' do you typically count for each 'unit' in a pattern? Thanks :)
