What are my chances of being accepted into pharmaceutical sciences PhD?

Hello everyone,

I am an international student from India preparing to apply for fully funded PhD programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the US.

I have attached my full CV for a detailed look at my background, but here is a quick TL;DR of my profile:

Academics: B.Pharm (UG) with a 9.0 CGPA.

Research Interests: A mix of computational and wet lab — CADD, Medicinal and Analytical Chemistry, and novel drug delivery systems (nanoparticles, phytosomes).

Experience: Currently a Research Intern at CSIR-IICT (working on LC-MS/MS biomarker detection), plus 18 months of clinical research/pharmacovigilance experience.

Highlights: 1 granted UK patent, Editor for a published textbook, and a Best Oral Presentation award at an international conference in Berlin.

I am currently considering the UNC and the University of Wisconsin Madison (UW), but I really need help expanding my list.

My questions for this community:

  1. Based on my attached CV, which other US universities or specific PIs would you highly recommend for someone with my blend of CADD and drug delivery experience?

2.Are there any "safe" or moderate tier schools with strong funding in these specific research areas that I shouldn't overlook?

  1. Will I get accepted into PhD programs with this portfolio?

Thank you in advance for your time and guidance!
