Tropical Sage Pruning Helpi

Tropical Sage Pruning Helpi

Hi all! New to gardening. I bought this tropical sage from a plant sale a few days ago and it seems to be doing okay! The left most stem had no flowers on it when I bought it so I’ve been happy to see them.

However, the other two stems has had dead flowers. I’ve only done shallow research, without finding exactly what I should do with them. I’m thinking I should remove the “spent blooms” to encourage new flower growth but I don’t know exactly where to cut them. Is it right above the top most, healthiest leaves? Or do I just leave it be?

Thanks!

Pineapple Plant Help

Hello all! I’ve been moved into this unit for about a year now and recently decided to start a garden in the back, with zero prior experience. I just finished clearing out most of the pine straw debris that had been piled up for years probably and finally revealed the soil underneath. I was trimming some unwanted limbs and pulled out this pot that was tucked away by the previous tenants/landlord. It was covered in pine straw and had a bunch of dead leaves so I decided to trim them because I was gonna plant it somewhere and use the pot for something else.

But then I found the tag buried in the soil and it said it was pineapple! Can anyone give me advice on taking care of it, like where to move it? It was hidden away in almost full shade this whole time. And are there two pineapple plants in this pot?

Thank you!
